Administrator and Owner

Lori Lewis has been in education for over 25 years.  She believes that education should be tailored to the student, that it must be fun, and that thematic learning enhances thinking while doing.  Creative and critical thinking should be available at every appropriate opportunity. Project/problem-based learning allows children to guide their own learning choices enhancing 21st century skills in communication and collaboration.
Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Elementary Education.  She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Education Psychology while earning her administration in gifted and talented and reading specialist certificates.  She is passionate about gifted and talented education and has worked with several school districts and with education groups to promote best practices in serving this population.
There have been several roles that she has held including experiences such as being a director of a private school, location manager for several companies, camp director, an education consultant, educator trainer, and classroom teacher, certified from nursery thru 12th grade.  Her favorite role is being a mom to two wonderful kids.  She and her husband live in Pooler with their “grandcat” Jack.

Campus Manager

We are thrilled to have Miss Jessie join our team!  She comes to us with business management, education and communication experience.  Jessie will be providing our school with the skills to keep our teaching team and students engaged in active learning.  Additionally, she will be tutoring and leading enrichment classes.  If our families ever need anything, don't hesitate to let Jessie know!



Ms. Kehl is joining our teaching team with a passion to get kid's hands working and learning.  She is a gifted teacher that is going to bring our learning themes to life!  After she completed her master's degree, she went on to earn her education specialist focusing on brain-based teaching.  She is also a musician and artist. Amy is originally from Santa Cruz, California and has made Savannah home for 15 years.


Kay is a native of Pensacola, Florida.  She and her husband, Rick, recently

moved to Savannah to share life with their children and grandchildren.

Kay has spent her life loving and teaching children.  She holds 

a Master's degree from New Orleans Seminary and a Bachelor's degree

in elementary education from the University of West Florida.

Kay is excited to join the team of learners at Advanced Academics.

Rachel has a background in Early Childhood Education and has over fifteen years experience working with children aging from infants to adolescence as a Nanny, Preschool and Pre K Teacher. She also has experience as an ABA therapist for special needs students. She loves teaching children transition and play through song and dance! Aside from teaching children, she also uses photography to capture those everyday precious moments as a family/portrait photographer.


Whitney has been working in the education field for over 16 years . She has a Masters In Early Education, a Master's in Organizational Leadership and a Masters in Curriculum and Reading. She has years of experience teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten as well as grades 1st- 12th grade in both a private and public school setting. She has had the opportunity to better serve the faculty and students in the capacity of an Administrator and as Dean of Students for the past 10 years.  Whitney feels excited and truly blessed to be able to go back into a classroom and follow through with my true passion which is teaching our children and making a huge impact in their lives. 
I am very excited and look forward to meeting and working beside each and everyone of you! Looking forward to a great school year!



Brian is passionate about project based learning!  He is bringing robust experience in math and history. His background includes experience as a lead instructor, mentor, and administrator.


Dr. Gray brings enthusiasm and joy to our campus.  She is excited to be working with learners in reading, language arts and especially writing.  Away from campus, she is currently serving as President-Elect for the Georgia Retired Educators Association.

Paralee King has been in education for over a decade. She believes that learning is a joyous lifelong experience.  

Although her expertise lies in the sciences she enjoys visiting art museums and likes to create beautiful things.

Paralee holds a Master of Arts in Teaching  and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.  She is also a certified Life Coach.   Before becoming a teacher, she was a research scientist.  She is a published scientist and holds a patent for a hydrogel with a group of colleagues.

Paralee has taught science courses at the high school and community college levels.  She also homeschooled her children at all grade levels.

She is the proud mother of three adult children and three grandchildren.
